It's more of an enhancement than a new service. People have instant messaging and email which both serve a similar function. Do I think it's useful? Yes. Do I think it's revolutionary? Nope.<BR/><BR/>When citing a situation where twitter could be helpful to fellow students the article mentioned: <BR/><BR/>"Another noted that a topic from the class was being discussed on a TV-news report."<BR/><BR/>Well, if we're talking about new technology, why didn't the student TIVO it.
