RESIDENT OF ORINDA

Born in Oakland, Ca. Bill, “Wild Willy,” was raised by his mother Margaret and father John Siemons.

Bill grew up in the Oakland and the Berkeley hills with his loving parents, and brothers John, Henry, Robert, Richard and sister, Jean. Bill was an Alumni at El Cerrito High and graduated in the class of 1952. Following graduation he helped continue his father’s legacy at Siemons Mailing Service Inc. in Berkeley, Ca established in 1940.

Bill was an avid skier, both water and snow and loved spending his time outdoors. He loved boating and was a member of the San Joaquin Yacht Club and also served as president of the Willow Park Marina HOA. During his time working with the family business he served 8 years as an airman for the U.S. Naval Reserves. Retiring as President of Siemons Mailing Service Inc. at age 60, Wild Willy was able to spend his time at home with his wife Michel and children Andrea and Brian.

Bill was a terrific father, a wonderful teacher, and a best friend. He taught his children how to love, laugh, play, create, and respect. Bill was an excellent builder and had his own unique way of constructing things in the family yard and home. He often shared stories with his wife and kids about the cars, boats, dances, the games, the drive in movies, and how he used to be able to get a milk shake for a nickel. He was a true gem, a one of a kind man, and he will be missed by all who had the privilege to know him.

To those of you knew him, his services will be held at the Santa Maria Catholic Church in Orinda Ca on Thursday Sept. 30, 2010 with a viewing at 10AM, mass will begin at 11AM.

In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of William Siemons. Thank you.
